to steal, pilfer or abscond with another’s joke and immediately, and in the face of the original jokester, bring it to a wider audience and thus thrust yourself into the limelight as a funny man.
Since I only whispered the joke to him and he found it quite funny, he figured he would tell everyone and tylerized me.
