(Deriving from the show “America’s Next Top Model”) – A call that one person yells out in a room overflowing with people to check if their best friend is there. If this person happens to be there, then the person who initiated the “TYRA-MAIL!” call will hear one in return.
(Also could be a greeting between two people when they see each other from afar.)
Daquan: "Hey Justin, have you seen Taheerah? Is she even
here?"
Justin: "Naw, I ain't seen her. Hold on, let me check -
TYRA-MAIL!"
Taheerah: "TYRA-MAIL!"
Justin: "Yeah, she here."
