What is Ulster Young Militant?

Ulsters Young Militants are the youth wing of the UDA.

Formed during The Troubles in 1974 at the peak of the violence.

Theyre motto is Terrae Filius", Latin for "Son of the Land".

At present the UYM are being populated by youths from 15 to 18 years of age. Most of these Militants will be using intimidating violence. In some Squads theyre recruits must be sworn, and cannot leave.

Many famous Loyalists are believed to have been in the UYM before entering the UDA, Such as Johnny Adair.
