n.- opposite of discount; to go up, increase; raise the price.

The original price was $1.00. But, the store gave the item an upcount to where the price is $1.50.

it is the opposite of discount. discount means the price of something going DOWN and upcount means the price going UP.

The upcount is $0.50.
