The Uppernux are a branch of the SIA (Smodem Intelligence Agency).
The function of the Uppernux is to act as the "hidden hand" of the SIA by engaging in covert operations (some of questionable legality) in choral and other scholastic environments. Known cover-up operations include the past "operation bublin'" and the active "The Rain, it Raineth: ReMix" project.
Other SIA branches include The Fellowship of the Smodem and The Black Hand of Nod.
