The USGBC is the US Green Building Council, which is an organization devoted to promoting green building in all it's forms. It's best know for it's creation and administration of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (aka LEED) rating system.
I wish the USGBC would stop charging me so much for educational sessions and lectures...
