What is Uwharria?

Uwharria is a thrash punk band from Greensboro, NC that only screams about the environment. That's right. Their songs are about skunks, flowers, and getting eaten by bears. If that sounds like hippie music, you've never heard the brutal sounds of Uwharria. They sound like Bad Brains covering Judas Priest songs.
Uwharria has a CD called "Fury in the Foothills," and one split release with Crimson Spectre on Magic Bullet.
