What is Valar?

Creatures created by J.R.R. Tolkien in his masterpiece, the silmarillion. They were Created by Eru to be the gaurdians of his creation to watch over all the lesser beings. Kind of like the angels of Middle Earth.

The valar praised Eru in his overwhelming power.
