Valencia Velodrome

What is Valencia Velodrome?

1.

A "sports arena" located on Valencia Street in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA. USA where local "athletes" walk, rather than ride their bicycles up and down the sidewalk.

Due to the fact zoning laws require that no bicycles be ridden on the sidewalks, and since visibility is lacking in the bike lane, these "athletes" are forced to walk their machines down the sidewalk in an attempt to compete for the gazes of the female population, which all seem to be dressed like Nepalese Sherpas with fringed suede jackets and victorian era blouses.

The winners of this daily competition are entitled to interact with the objects of there desire. Interactions inlcude:

comparing dislikes, discussing past failures, explaining one's need for keeping it real, and the like.

Elite "athletes are often associated with the prestigious cycling group Team Valencia.

Did you see those kids doing the Valencia Velodrome yesterday? Maybe next time they should try riding their bikes.
