An organism possessing traits similar to those of a zombie, but has an insatiable appetite for blood, not unlike that of a vampyre, and also cannot be exposed to sunlight without physical pain.
e.g.: the antagonists in the 2007 blockbuster, "I Am Legend"
"I've had it with these motherfuckin' vambies in this motherfuckin' city!"
