French vanilla, from the French "vanille francais" (A play on "French" vanilla, even though it was first popular in Pre-Colombian Mesoamerica, and only named for France's traditional use of the bean in ice cream).

When ordering coffee in Seattle: "A double tall van-fran mocha, hold the cream."
