What is Verbal Cc?


1.

A verbal cc refers to either:

1) adding someone within the body of an email message without actually cc'ing that person's address, usually as a way of calling special attention

2) actually saying "and X person," along with everyone else, to gain similar emphasis

Everyone, and Long John, don't forget to bring your pants. And yes, LJ, I am verbal cc'ing you."
