What is Verticon?

Verticons are vertical emoticonsused on the internetby speakers of Asianlanguages, most commonly Taiwanese and Japanesepeople. Verticons are also used by anime fansthat don't fully understand the meaning of verticons, and have an incomplete vocabulary of verticons.
