Member of the Democratic Party in the United States who, out of cowardice or unprincipled self-interest, collaborates with (rather than opposes) the fascist and anti-Constitutional policies of the Republican Party, or of neo-conservatives more generally. Derived from the Vichy French who collaborated with the Nazis during World War II.
See also: Vichy Democrats, although in this sense it is meant in a sense broader than simply supporting the Iraq invasion.
The Vichycrats in Congress voted in favor of telecom immunity and continued warrantless wiretapping by the Bush administration.
