What is Vinegaroon?

Solpugids aka sun spiders, whip scorpions. Found mostly in the desert areas of the southwestern states from Texas to California. They are spider-like in appearance, but are quite different.They have a pair of well-developed tactile appendages that appear very leg-like, and are able to break human skin; however, these creatures have little to no venom and are relatively harmless to man. They are nocturnal in habit and are predaceous on other arthropods. Relatively blind, the go after vibration and are known to chase humans around. Remember: If you get bit by one of these creatures it is harmless and NO, you don't taste vinegar.
