A Volkswagen Beetle built as an alternative to traditional hot rods. Common conversions include: The front and rear fenders removed, chopped top, flat black paint job, and extended front axle. Their growing popularity is due to the fact that the the early Volkswagen Beetle is still quite inexpensive, and the parts for them are easily accessible.
