What is Von Trap?

(1) The mouth of someone who has a terrible singing voice but continues to sing anyway. This term originated during a 'the sound of music' production at a local theater company, where cast playing the Von Trap family weren't very good singers.
(2) Can also apply to people who don't shut up.
Diana was singing last night at the jazz bar. We wished she would shut her von trap and just let the band play.
Lori was going on and on and wouldn't shut up. I told her to shut her von trap before I came over there and punch her in the jaw.
