What is Votie?

The teeny-tiny little stub of paper that falls out when you poke the hole in the ballot. Also known as chad.

After I filled out my absentee ballot, I had to get on my knees and pick all the voties off the carpet.

A lot of people who voted for Al Gore for prez didn't get their ballots counted because there were still little swinging voties over some of the holes.
