a japanese term refering to a mental state of transcending awareness and focused unity of the mind. true action occurs in the moment and is a beginning and end only of itself.

i have taken on the task of writing a full port of OpenGL for the 3Dfx chipset but i can't attain tne necessary zanshin to do it due to constant interruptions from my wife.
