Zing!

What is Zing!?

1.

A phrase most commonly stated after a particularly clever comment, ex: a pun, a dis, in rare cases a well placed "your mom" or "so's your face" or "That's what she said."

It is often associated with a third party, having heard said clever comment in another's conversation.

Used in place of other put down-ish phrases, such as, "You just got served" or "Oh snap!" or "PWNED!" etc.

John: ...In short, it was a real come from behind victory.

Ryan: That's what she said!

Yitzach: ZING!

See zing, zing!, burn, dis, oh, snap, oh snap

2.

Phrase used as appreciation of a pun, or sometimes a put-down or momma joke. Almost always used by an observer, yet sometimes (in very pathetic circumstances) by the ZING-er

"I hear your mom does!" "Woa... dude, Zing!" *high Fives*

3.

Same as "Oh, snap!"

Whenever someone makes a smart ass comment towards somebody other than you, you are permitted to say "Zing!!!"

Also if you made a smart ass comment towards somebody, you can later refer to it as if you "zinged" them.

John: Where were you last night, Tom?

Tom: In your mom's bed!

You: Zing!!!

"I zinged that guy pretty good there, lol"

See zinged, pwned, oh snap, owned

4.

Usually a sarcastic remark to a very lame joke. Can be used immediately after the punchline or a brief pause after the punchline---timing is of the essence. Originally coined in some cartoon I can't remember.

Mr. X: "Knock, knock..."

Mr. Y: "Who's there?"

Mr. X: "Anita."

Mr. Y: "Anita, who?"

Mr. X: "Anita Bath! ......zing!"

*Y punches X*
