A yerp is a burp that transitions into a very strong proud yell at the end. The goal of the burping portion of the yerp is to be as loud and gutteral as possible, lots of resonance. As as you transition into the yell portion, it should be a sound akin to the sound that the strong men make when lifting trucks in the Strong Man Competition, a solid yell with a little bit of grunt thrown in for good measure.
