Said by a male in response to an instruction by a female for the purpose of indicating that she is being bossy or domineering.

Female: On your way home from work tonight, be sure to pick up the dry cleaning, buy catfood and milk, go to the carwash, return these books to the library, get Chinese take-out, stop at the bank and get a haircut.

Male: Yesum.

Female: Don't 'yesum' me!
