Yubbish (Yuppie Rubbish) is best described as the discarded, but often useful and/or tasteful items from mid-upper and upper class homes.
Apparently the best times to find yubbish is just prior to local council 'hard rubbish' collection weeks, where nature-strips suddenly fill up with all manner of discarded items, from broken vases to audio/visual equipment.
"Man I was cruising through Toorak the other week when I scored this awesome yubbish CD Player!"
