1.)A term used to describe a town or city that has been taken over and occupied by the Young upcoming professionals, or "yuppies". Usually, a Yuppie Town can be identified by the high number of coffee houses per capita and how many times people jaywalk in front of you and don't seem to give a damn while driving around

10 years ago, low income housing dominated this stretch of downtown. Now this Yuppie Town is full of cozy coffee houses and import cars.
