What is Amitting?

The act of breaking up with a significant other only to reconsider once tears begin to flow and a lack of sex begins to create feelings of guilt and lust in the person who did the breaking. Usually if not always leads to the person who dumped the other getting back with them for all of the wrong reasons.
Brian dumped Tori because he thought she was racist, but he's amitting.
