Arbuckling

What is Arbuckling?

1.

The process of living or spending some time alone in an existential haze of loneliness, anxiety, melancholy, and apathy punctuated by flashes of enthusiasm and glee that may or may not seem pathetic in retrospect. It can be enjoyable in short doses as a means of recharging after too much time around people, but too much of it will probably drive you three-quarters crazy. Talking to your cat(s) is a given, if you have any.

1. "Hey, have you ever read 'Garfield Minus Garfield?' That's like the composite example of Arbuckling."

2. "-What are you going to do this weekend?"

"-Gosh, I think I should just spend some time Arbuckling."
