What is Backyard Breeder?

1. A person who breeds animals, usually horses, that have horrible conformation and shouldn't have been bred because they person can't afford a quality stud/broodmare.
2. Someone who has no business breeding animals because they can't afford to take care of them.
'Yeah, my horse is a fugly but I love him.'
'Where'd you get him?'
'Some backyard breeder. They were living in a junk yard and his dad was sooo fugly.'
