A very dangerous suburb on the southern fringe of the northern beaches. Known for its gangs, drug dealings, drive bys, graffiti and other gangster related activity. Balgowlah Heights is inner suburb of Balgowlah which is widely recognised as more "ghetto" than Compton itself.

We were walking through Balgowlah the other day an ma mate got fuckin' shanked ay.
