What is Brafficate?

To take a largely unknown indie band or song and make it popular by including it in a mainstream film or commercial, thereby "ruining" the band for its original (and somewhat elitist) indie fans.

Origin: Term developed after Zach Braffincluded the music of The Shinsin Garden State.
