"Club Mac" is the name given to Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia by students of other Universities in the city. The nickname is an allusion to Club Med, and refers to the fact that students at Macquarie enjoy longer semester holidays than students at other universities. This, however, is due to the fact that students at Macquarie Uni do not have pre-exam study breaks (Study Vacation) as all other universities do.

"We have to go back to uni tommorow. Not like those bastards at Club Mac. They've still got another week off!"
