What is Coplex?

A word that is needlessly complex, is used primarily by writers trying to be smartarses.
Something that is coplex. A word that sounds cool but you don't have an excuse to use very often.
I first heard this term used by the great sage Mike.
"Well, being an academic club we would probably feel bad unless we used coplex wording in everyday writing, speaking, etc"
"I will start with two of my favourite coplex words."
"So give us some overly coplex and difficult words to liven up our writing!"
