Cranky, aggressive older female, prone to snarling and pontificating. The Republican version, often coiffed in a massive bouffant hairdo and pastel pantsuit, will rant at TV coverage of Gay Pride Parades. The Democrat cronemudgeon, sporting natural fiber clothing and Birkenstocks, drives a VW van and flips off SUVs with 'I Support Our Troops' yellow ribbons.
Aunt Grace is still pissed about the Bush re-election. I told her real nice to get over it, but she snapped and went on and on about social security reform. God, she's such a cronemudgeon.
