A person that refuses to see the obviousness of the current situation, usually because they are mentally heavily invested in what used to be true.
The baby-boomers that refuse to sell their homes becuase they are waiting for the housing market to return to its peak highs so that hey can sell and secure their retirement are deludinoids.
