What is Destrehan?

A town in the middle of nowhere in Louisiana just outside of New Orleans. Inhabitants seem to think they are more important that they actually are, especially after the high school won the football state championships. Everyone knows everyone elses business. The teenagers are all about partying. If you don't drink you are not "cool." Oh and if you aren't an OH NINER~ you are a lame ass bastard. we have one street that's considered the "hood". The whole town is only about 3 miles in radius. We live in the middle of nowhere. The refineries haven't corrupted us as bad as the norconians, but it's fucked us up pretty bad. we do not have much to offer.
