What is Directissima?
1.
The name given to an indirect wandering route up a steep mountain face or crag in Glencoe.
Normally a very direct line or route up a mountain face such as the Eiger North face Directissima.
But in Scotland appears to relate to indirect wandering climbs on the Mountains such as Buachaille Etive Mor. One such climb is Cunieform Buttress Directissima. See records in Scottish Mountaineering Club Journal 2005 New routes section
