After spending most of his teen years doing time (3) for the rents, the kid couldn't wait, so he uppedand did time (2) as soon as he could. That got old, so he splitbefore his time was up, got caught, did some time (1) in the big house, and still had to do the rest of his time when he got out. It was getting to be a habit.
