Doodleware

What is Doodleware?

1.

A visual software development environment.

Enterprise Application Integration and Web services vendors continually tout the ease of use of their visual development environments (disparagingly called "doodleware" by hard-core developers) and the resulting increase in productivity. These suites typically include visual transformation editors, workflow or orchestration editors, schema editors, component assembly tools and the like.

I can't believe this doodleware will eliminate any need for programmers.
