Basicly emotional intelligence is something made up by women, specifically feminists, who otherwise lack qualifications for any job.
A meaningless word used to cover the fact that its user lacks regular intelligence.
Laura: That Wendy sure was an airheaded idiot.
Marla: Yeah, but she said she's very emotionally intelligent.
Laura: Emotional intelligence? Ooh, let's hire her!
