An undesirable, usually unwanted text from an ex-significant other. They usually come at inopportune times like when you are with your new significant other or when you are thinking to yourself about how annoying your ex happens to be.

"Oh my god my ex, Dustin just textedme and told me he still loved me. I hate getting ex-texts."
