What is Farsley?

Farsley is a district of Leeds, West Yorkshire, 9 km (6 m) to the west of the city centre, and 6 km (4 m) east of Bradford.
It was mentioned in the Domesday Book as "Calverley -with-Farsley" in the 11th century.
