1. n. used to describe a backup band that can't hold a candle to its respective lead singer, in most cases disparaging the act all together in embarrassing fashion.
Dave: "Hey Larry, you gonna catch The Dangling Moors at the Empty Bottle tonight??"
Larry: "Don't you mean Saul and the Flipstonks? What a waste of an American Idol regional quarter-finalist! To be linked to such bafoons can't be a highlight in his career! I'm hungry for burritos."
