A term referring to the relationship between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. If a person does not approve of their relationship and thinks that Katie does not love Tom, they can be seen shouting, "Free Katie!"
It insinuates that Tom is holding Katie hostage, or something related to the fact that she does not want to be in a relationship with him.
"God, Tom is such a freak. Free Katie! He so doesn't deserve her."
