A electorally irrelevant state that has historically trended toward one political party in national elections, but has an outside chance of being taken by a candidate of the opposite party. Although not needed to win an election, they would presumably be a good chance for the winner to rub their victory in the loser's face
"In this election, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Arizona, and Georgia are Obama's fuck you states. If even one of them swing his way, John McCain would never hear the end of it."
