What is Gamer Nerd?

1. an adjective used to describe one that spends all his (or, less frequently, her) free time absorbed in video or computer games to the extent that he has no life (meaning the absence of friends, good grades, and/or extracurricular activities, etc).
2. In some social circles, this term has a negative connotation and is used colloquially to describe persons who have any interest in gaming whatsoever.
Wow, that kid is such a gamer nerd...all he does is play Halo 3 and DotA all day....
