v. To mess something up so much that no one can possibly repair it.
n. Referring to somebody that is disliked by a majority of a group and is often making comments, which destroy the flow of the conversation.
v. Damn man, that guy gartined my science project up so much that the volcano won't erupt anymore.
n. That fucking gartin over there keeps killing the jokes.
