Combination of the word Gay and AIDS. The term is used to describe the condition of someone who isn't feeling but dosn't really have any real illness.

GAYDS – An airborne and highly contagious 'disease' contracted most commonly during a specific lunar phase occurring ONLY when the Moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. Gayds can be contracted in several way including; anal, vaginal or oral sex, blood transfusion, contaminated hypodermic needles, exchange between mother and baby during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding, or other exposure to one of the above bodily fluids and WORST OF ALL any type of interaction with children whom have been associated (past and present) with Telethon.
Common usage: ‘I saw tk last night and now I have GAYDS!’
