Geotrashing

What is Geotrashing?

1.

The act of deliberately seeking out and destroying a geocache.

Filthy hippies occasionally take time away from their bongs to go hide stupid trinkets in the woods for other hippies to find. This is a complete waste of time and can only amuse the most simple-minded of people.

Geotrashers enjoy ruining difficult or complicated caches and especially covet geocoins and travel bugs. These items are kept and displayed proudly as trophies. The remaining items in a cache (usually stupid crap like happy meal toys and bead necklaces) are smashed, burned, or scattered around the area. Items such as log books are completely destroyed and/or removed.

Bill and I went geotrashing last weekend. We got really drunk and destroyed 3 caches. I got a travel bugsent out by a 5th-grade classroom in Texas. Bill took a huge dump in one of the ammo boxes, too.
