What is Ghetto-jamas?

When regular pajama pants become lacerated and/or damaged in any form beneath the knee region, they can be "repaired" via tearing the pants at the knees thereby creating a new pair of "pajama-shorts" otherwise known as ghetto-jamas.
Tareq: "My dog chewed the bottom of my pajamas"
Rhyan: "That sucks"
Tareq: "No its cool, I made them into ghetto-jamas!"
