Literally, going to church with a bunch of other people who really love God, and don't mind singing at the top of their lungs or making complete fools of themselves. Can be used to describe the worship practices of any religion.
Standing in the midst of the largest god rave he'd ever seen, Pete felt constricted and had to leave the church.
