Harasaki, a word of Japanese origin, describes a failed suicideor kamikaze attack where only the one or ones carrying out the attack end up dead.

Paco attempted a kamikaze attack with dynamite but because he was too predictable, he became the only victim. Because of his stupidity, his action was a harasaki.
